Gouldsboro, ME The Point is located in Gouldsboro, in Downeast Maine on the Schoodic Peninsula near the Schoodic portion of Acadia National Park on occupied Wabanaki land.Each site is provided with a picnic table and firepit for your enjoyment. The 3 Bivouac sites and secluded bell tent are hidden away along Webb Brook, sitting among the pines and hardwoods. Two large picnic tables for outdoor dining. Great for kayaking, fishing, and swimming. Graham Lake is just a stone's throw away. All you can hear is the waters of the brook rushing and sounds of nature all around. Walk through the large open field, away from everything, to this storybook setting. Ellsworth, ME 35 minutes to Acadia National Park, 10 minutes to Ellsworth, 40 minutes to Bangor.Ī very sweet and rustic Hemlock cabin, a secluded 16' Bell tent, and 3 private bivouac sites sit along beautiful Webb Brook.Traveling to NH and Massachusetts is a day trip. What this location offers is that it is centrally located to mountains, oceans, lakes,concert venues, restaurants, nightlife, shopping and antiquing. You will see other campers if all 3 sites are occupied. This property does not offer complete seclusion. A brook runs through the property but dries up after June. The last thing he ever thought he would be doing with his retirement is jumping back on his excavator. With some landscaping it became clear that some beautiful campsites were forming.
